Daniel T. Klutznick, Principal

Mr. Klutznick began his career in real-estate development in 1989. He brings a broad array of experience to his work, including financial analysis, design, leasing, financing, marketing, public relations, construction and property/asset management.

Mr. Klutznick has extensive experience working on projects in both Chicago and Phoenix. In 1989, he joined the John Buck Company of Chicago as a financial analyst assisting in the development of 515 North State Street, headquarters of the American Medical Association; the renovation and expansion of the Chicago Marriott Downtown hotel on North Michigan Avenue; and property management of the 35 West Wacker Drive office tower.

In 1996, Mr. Klutznick joined his father’s real-estate investment, development and consulting firm, Thomas J. Klutznick Company, and became involved with design, development, leasing and property management for 730 North Michigan Avenue, a full-block luxury retail and hotel complex, including Tiffany & Co., Polo/Ralph Lauren and The Peninsula Chicago hotel.

In addition to his real-estate activities, Mr.Klutznick also served four years as an equity/position trader for an investment banking and institutional brokerage firm in San Francisco.

Mr. Klutznick graduated from Tufts University in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science degree in political science.
